On the stroke of midnight 1990, a chain of events sends two disparate souls on a rollercoaster ride through the darker underbelly of Thatcher’s Britain.

News Journalist Jennifer brushes aside family bereavement and homelessness to take on an assignment that she hopes will establish her credibility, just as civil servant Kevin’s debauched birthday celebration gets out of control.

Their world’s collide in London, a city of two halves, where the educated find it impossible to survive, and those with influence manipulate life with impunity.
