Spencer Nero’s Little Book of Dead Nazis is a 32-page, A5, black-and-white tribute to Edward Gorey’s rhyming ABCDaries – such as The Gashlycrumb Tinies. The difference? It features the Civil Centurion… and 26 viciously-despatched fascists! Each page is a horribly beautiful – or beautifully horrible – piece of Scott Twells art, complete with a cruel rhyme. Don’t buy this book if you’re at all sympathetic to the plight of Nazis!
